As an M&A Advisor, Dean McDonald is an active and dedicated member of the M&A Source, as well as a valued board member who currently serves as chairman of the membership committee. Dean is also a member of the International Business Brokers Association and a certified instructor for both associations. He has also co-authored many courses throughout his membership.
Today, Dean holds numerous industry-specific certifications and a Georgia real estate broker’s license to serve clients effectively.

Executive Experience
Dean started his first business in the insurance industry. After five successful years, he then started a second business in the commercial cleaning industry, where his leadership and experience yielded consistent yearly growth for another six years.
Dean began his professional career in 1994 after graduating from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and a minor in Accounting.

John is married and resides in Georgia and Virginia. He graduated with honors from Virginia Military Institute and holds an MBA from Virginia Tech.
His son is also a graduate of Virginia Military Institute serving in the US Army, and his daughter is a West Point graduate serving with the 101st Airborne Division.
Personal Interests
Dean is a family man and adventurer. He enjoys nature and hiking through scenic mountains. Dean is a regular attendee of college sporting events and a keen follower of professional teams. When he’s not exploring the outdoors, he finds relaxation in reading, television, and traveling with his loved ones.
